Marina Accessories

Marine Structures offers a comprehensive range of Marina Accessories, including Boatlifts, Jet Ski Docks, Mooring Buoys, Pile Rings, Fire Safety Equipment, Pedestals, and Marina Mate Trolleys, all designed to enhance functionality, safety, and convenience while optimising space and ensuring efficient marina operations.

Boatlifts

The introduction of boatlifts to a marina will significantly enhance the berthing mix on offer, and also generate additional sales to existing customers, while attracting new berth holders and visitors.

The floating docks sink into the water to allow for drive on access, then at the push of the button, float up, lifting the vessel out of the water. The modular docks lift and lower with ease, allow for solo operation and offer complete walk around access.

Marine Structures can manufacture and install a range of boatlifts that are a low maintenance and popular alternative for those wanting to store vessels out of the water. They also reduce the logistical hassles of boating such as trailer movements and storage.

Jet Ski Docks

Extra services provided by marinas create more revenue streams and diversifying services beyond traditional vessel storage can greatly assist with this. A perfect example of this is the stylish and practical Superior Jet Ski Dock (JSD) by Marine Structures; an innovative solution to utilize inaccessible marina space and also increase yield from the valuable limited water area.

The standalone docks with no moving parts easily link together to form a continuous dock, offering a convenient way to store craft completely out of the water, thereby avoiding costly fouling of the craft and its mechanisms.

Custom designs and connections are available to suit individual requirements and marina spaces including tailored brackets and platforms to allow 45-degree parking for the marginal areas in which this product excels.

The modules are container friendly for shipment worldwide with 18 in a 40ft HC and equipped with forklift fork recesses for easy loading and storage.

Pile Rings

Keep your marina piles clean with our range of Superior Pile Rings! Marine Structures has a steadfast commitment to sustainability, especially in the preservation of waterways. The innovative Superior Pile Ring (SPR) is a perfect testament to this, and another example of our product range being developed sustainably.

Rotomoulded in Queensland from partially recycled polyethylene sourced in Australia, an internal urethane filler makes the units sink resistant over time and a UV additive prevents the premature breakdown of the materials. The 2-piece structure allows for simple retrofitting to existing cleaned piles without removing pile brackets.

Complete with “shark teeth” technology, the SPR gently removes spat and growth from a new or recently cleaned pile, purely by the movement of the water on the floating ring.

Each pile ring has been designed to fit a span of pile diameters with a total of four sizes ranging from a nominal 315mm, 400, 450, 500 or 710mm piles. The design also allows an area for branding for large orders for commercial clients.

SPR’s will keep piles clean, which in turn removes the massive task of pile cleaning which is often ignored or performed poorly. Poor pile maintenance leads to growth of sharp barnacles which fouls ropes and cables leading to major catastrophic failure. This is the single greatest benefit which is often overlooked as it is an important but not urgent job.

Fire Safety Equipment

Fires in marinas are rare but it is essential to be prepared in the unlikely event that something goes wrong. The Superior Fire Hose Reel/Extinguisher Station and & Fire Hydrants by Marine Structures are essential safety additions to any marina. The fire extinguisher sits inside the cabinet under the fire hose reel and the product can be tailored to suit any specific requirements. The one piece rotomolded medium density polyethylene fire hose reel cover protects the fire hose and reel from sun, wind and rain exposure. It is strong and durable with a long-life span and fits all major brand fire hose reels.

The fire extinguisher cabinet has been designed and constructed from the ground up as a robust and sturdy product, manufactured to last. The extinguisher is protected from the elements whilst conforming to Australian Standards and being adaptable to local authority requirements. Designed to hold 2.5kg, 4.5kg or 9.5kg extinguishers, it is easily mountable to any surface and is available with optional locks/handles as per Australian Standards

The Fire Hose Reel/Extinguisher Station has the space to affix manual call points, sounders and strobes which are then integrated into new or existing fire alarm systems. These components are connected by cabling to Fire Indicator Panels which under alarm will show exactly which Manual Call Point has been pushed. Signage is also installed to ensure first responders call 000.

We partner with experienced hydraulic engineers to ensure supply from landside can achieve the required pressure and flow for hydrants and fire hose reels for the local regulatory requirements. Usually, Fire Hydrants are fed with 125mm diameter polyethylene pipework and able to achieve minimum requirements when boosted as an example in Qld of 5 L/sec @ residual pressure of 700kPa.

Pedestals

Power pedestals are a crucial safety feature for any marina. The specialists at Marine Structures can help you choose the ideal pedestals to ensure your customers enjoy a safe, comfortable, and convenient berthing experience.

Our range of power pedestals are designed to meet a variety of electrical needs. In addition to standard requirements including 15amp single phase outlets, 32amp, 63amp and 125amp 3 phase outlets, we can provide a range of custom designed 250amp, 400amp and 600amp direct connect power pedestals to suit international vessels.

To enhance safety and convenience, our pedestals come equipped with courtesy lighting on top, providing a clear and well-lit runway for night berthing. This lighting system is efficiently managed by a centrally located master photocell, allowing for seamless and automatic control.

All power pedestals include integrated electrical and water meters, offering comprehensive utility management and ensuring your marina operates smoothly and efficiently.

Marina Mate Trolleys

The Superior Marina Mate Trolley is custom designed for marina cartage, from the movement of small items to and from boats through to larger jobs including servicing and cleaning.

The durable trolleys made from heavy-duty rotomoulded polyethylene feature a spacious platform and sturdy wheels for smooth movement on docks.

Superior Marina Mate Trolleys are an excellent addition to any marina, combining functionality with style.

Mooring Buoys

Designed and manufactured in Australia using Australian materials, Superior Mooring Buoys provide enhanced safety in marine operations. The one piece rotomoulded medium density 100% virgin polyethylene buoys are manufactured with a high UV stabilized polymer and are foam filled for exceptional buoyancy. Built to withstand harsh marine environments, they are impact resistant and unsinkable.

Available in 18” (457mm) & 24” (610mm) diameter, the buoys include a HDPE mooring collar, centre tube for mooring chain up to 16-20mm diameter and standard USCG approved yellow 3M marine grade reflective tape for high visibility under reduced light conditions. The top shackle connects directly to the mooring chain for quick installation

The design allows for permanent markings – custom interchangeable inserts for identification numbers from the factory or blank area for engraving, rivet engraved plates and mould on graphics.

Superior Mooring Buoys are produced in standard IALA recommended high visible colours (bright white, red, yellow, green) with other colours available upon request.
