Description

The Clump Point Boating Infrastructure Project in Mission Beach, Queensland, is a major development aimed at enhancing the region’s marine accessibility and facilities. The project features a 120-meter by 6-meter steel and concrete jetty, providing a robust and durable platform for boating activities. Two large aluminium pontoons and two new floating walkways are being installed to facilitate easier and more efficient boat docking. These upgrades aim to boost tourism and recreational boating, making Clump Point a more attractive and functional destination for both locals and visitors.

In addition to the core infrastructure, the project includes the construction of associated gangways, pen berths, and swing moorings, ensuring that the area can accommodate a wide range of vessels. Navigational markers will also be installed to improve marine safety and guide boats entering and leaving the harbour. Together, these enhancements will significantly upgrade the boating facilities at Mission Beach, supporting the local economy and expanding opportunities for water-based recreation and tourism.
